Payroll Specialist - Taxation Services

We are currently seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our growing Taxation Services department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of local and international clients.
  • Calculate salaries, overtime, bonuses, leave, statutory deductions and other payroll-related payments.
  • Prepare and submit payroll-related statutory returns and reports to the relevant authorities.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and employee data in accordance with legislative requirements.
  • Process new hires, salary changes, terminations and other payroll updates.
  • Liaise with clients and government authorities on payroll and employment tax matters.
  • Ensure compliance with Cyprus payroll, tax and employment legislation.
  • Assist the Tax team with payroll-related tax compliance matters and other tax assignments, as required.
  • Support payroll reconciliations, reporting and year-end payroll activities.
  • Keep up to date with changes in payroll, tax and employment legislation and contribute to the continuous improvement of payroll processes.
 
Candidate Profile  
  • Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Previous experience in payroll, preferably within a professional services or outsourcing environment.
  • Knowledge of Cyprus payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
  • Experience using payroll software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both written and spoken.
  • Professionalism, attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
