Maria has over 20 years of professional experience and served as a Director in KPMG Ltd. Her extensive audit experience involves, amongst others, overseeing wide portfolios of audit clients in various business sectors, auditing large and complex consolidations of listed, unlisted and international group of companies. She has a wide experience in testing control procedures of public companies, designing of internal controls, due diligence, reorganizations, flotation and liquidations processes of major companies both locally and abroad. She has wide experience in professional and advisory services offered to shipping and hotel industries, real estate, Associations and Public Interest Entity Organisations, including Government bodies and Organisations. Throughout her career, Maria is delivering audit, IFRS and other related seminars.
She is a Fellow Member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), a Fellow Member of the Association of Accounting Technicians (FAAT), a Member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) and a Member of the Auditing Standards Committee of ICPAC.
