Head of Human Resources Department

Melina is the head of Human Resources and HR advisory services of Nexia Poyiadjis. She has a BSc degree in Business Administration from the University of Nicosia and also studied at ESC Rennes School of Business in France, where she was exposed to the international aspect of Business and HR management. She has moved on to obtaining her MBA degree at the Open University of Cyprus, with particular emphasis on HR management, leadership and dispute resolution.

Before joining Nexia Poyiadjis, Melina gained her experience in human resource practices across a variety of market leading companies amongst the industries of Financial Services, Telecommunications, and Food & Beverage, giving her the expertise of managing staff matters during difficult corporate changes and developments. Her comprehensive human resource experience involves, among others, Recruitment & Selection, Training & Development, Company Policies and Procedures design and implementation, Handling Employee Relations and Organizational Development.

She is a full member of the Cyprus Human Resource Management Association (CyHRMA)
